Clemson Came in Roaring and Left Purring

Of course, the Dawgs kept us in stitches by allowing Clemson to answer each one of our touchdowns in the first half.

WOW! Is there really much more to say about Saturday’s match up with Clemson? The Dawgs must have gotten a double dose of their Frosty Orange before going head-to-head against those Tigers. Gurley proved again and again why we love to see him on the field. Of course, the Dawgs kept us in stitches by allowing Clemson to answer each one of our touchdowns in the first half. But, it was Gurley’s one-hundred yard return that showed us why Dawgs rule and…Well as an avid feline enthusiast; I can’t bring myself to finish this thought. Bottom line we sent those Tigers back home as neutered and declawed domesticated house cats.

The second WOW is how Texas A&M took a plucking to those Gamecocks in Columbia. Now that they are madder than a bunch of old wet sitting hens they are sure to be a bunch of kick’n chickens for a while. Thankfully, our Dawgs have a week to rest and prepare before our annual sniff-n-greet. You better bet those hens are sharpening their spurs and getting ready to redeem themselves against us. Last year, we were able to break a three year losing streak against these birds and they are still squawking about it. Will this year allow us to batter and deep fry them again?

Time will only tell and what is a girl do to this Saturday since the Dawgs are on an open week? Why watch the competition, of course. We have only gotten started and there is a lot of football between now and the time for those pesky insects from Atlanta invade us. So, until next week let me go dig Bear from under the bed and start planning this Saturday’s viewing line-up.
