ATLANTA, GA — Two Atlanta sports teams sat out Wednesday night games. The move was their way of protesting against the police shooting of a Wisconsin Black man.

Jacob Blake, 29, was walking away from police, headed to his car, when he was shot seven times in the back. New video has surfaced showing Blake engaged in a struggle with Kenosha police moments before officer Rusten Sheskey — identified by officials as the officer who shot Blake — fired his gun seven times, striking Blake in the back on Sunday. His family announced Tuesday evening that Blake is unlikely to walk again.

Atlanta’s WNBA team, the Atlanta Dream, showed solidarity with their male colleagues in the NBA, by not playing last night, reported WSB. Atlanta United called off their game too.
