3 People Test Positive For Covid 19 After Atlanta Delta Flight

Three people who flew from Atlanta to Albany, New York on July 6 tested positive for COVID-19, according to county officials.

ATLANTA, GA — Three Delta Air Lines passengers flying from Atlanta tested positive Friday for the coronavirus.

The three people traveled to Albany, New York on July 6, according to Rensselaer County in upstate New York, who issued an advisory on Friday for the passengers on that flight. They were aboard Flight 4815.

They began to show symptoms last Tuesday, but didn’t have any when they flew.

The county is working with the state health department and local health departments as the case develops.

“Anyone who was a passenger on Flight 4815 from Georgia to Albany is advised to immediately contact the county Health Department in their home county. Rensselaer County residents who were passengers on Flight 4815 can call the county Health Department at 518-270-2655.”
