Adventures In Science And Free Yoga: Atlanta This Weekend
Enjoy some family fun and scientific exploring at Adventures In Science or view some local art at the Chastain Park Fall Festival.

ATLANTA, GA – This weekend is all about the arts and sciences! From HEREafter (an interactive theater experience) to Adventures in Science at Fernbank Museum, there’s a variety of immersive activities to choose from. The days ahead will also play host to the VEGANish ATL: Vegan/Vegetarian Block Party for curious foodies. And for those of drinking age, be sure to round out the weekend with free yoga at Wild Heaven Beer.

Described as "a limited engagement, multi-sensory immersive theatrical production,” HEREafter is heading to downtown Atlanta’s historic H.L. Green building. Tickets to the intimate affair (40 guests are allowed at each show) are available for purchase for $40.

Chastain Park Fall Festival
Neighborhood: Chastain Park
Festival-goers and fans of the visual arts in particular will be excited to hear that this weekend will bring yet another lively festival to the city. The Chastain Park Fall Festival aims to give back to the community through the arts, with a focus on local artists. Attendees can expect goods from painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers and jewelers.

Adventures In Science
Neighborhood: Druid Hills
Only at Fernbank can you get a first-hand glimpse at what it’s like to be a scientist. As part of Adventures in Science, curious young minds will learn about science through hands-on activities. Among the local scientists and community volunteers who will be on hand sharing their insight are those from Emory Child Study Center, Emory Herbarium Georgia Tech Research Institute and Clayton State Biology.

Atlanta's Largest Cocktail Party And Brunch Tailgate
Neighborhood: The Battery
With sponsors that include Coors Light and Ketel One, the drinks will certainly be flowing at what’s described to be Atlanta’s Largest Cocktail and Brunch Tailgate. The festivities will take place during the Georgia vs. Florida game, and general admission to the party will start at $30.

VEGANish ATL: Vegan/Vegetarian Block Party
Neighborhood: West Midtown
Serving as a great opportunity for those interested in the vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, VEGANish ATL will include a variety of delicious selections from food trucks and pop-up chefs. In addition to food, the foodie block party will also feature music from local DJs and artists, and clothing, body care, jewelry and more created by local artisans.

Atlanta Frocktails
Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward
The sewing community will have a chance to socialize over cocktails at Atlanta Frocktails, an event held in partnership with Fabricate Studio. In addition to the chance to meet fellow sewing enthusiasts, tickets to Atlanta Frocktails includes two signature cocktails, access to a taco station (complete with chips and dip) and a gift pack.

Avondale Bend & Beer Yoga Sundays

Another weekend here in the city brings yet another opportunity for free beer and yoga. This time around, Wild Heaven Beer is hosting Avondale Bend & Beer Yoga Sundays. The free series, which will take place every Sunday, includes an all-levels yoga class with Innercise Yoga and a pint of Wild Heaven brew.
