Georgia State has purchased the Braves' longtime home stadium with plans to turn it into their new football stadium. That followed the years-long development of the new Cobb County facility at SunTrust Park.

The team recently announced that the start time for evening games at SunTrust next season will be pushed back about 20 to 25 minutes to 7:30 p.m., to hopefully allow fans more time to get to the new stadium for the start of games.
