Atlanta Man Shot At Rooming House: Police

He's in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the stomach, say Atlanta police.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta police are investigating a shooting early Friday at a rooming house that left a man critically injured. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach, a police spokeswoman said in a statement.

Officers responded at 12:16 a.m. to the scene in the 800 block of Beckwith Street. The spokeswoman said that homicide detectives are probing the case.

No arrests were reported, and no other details were released.
