On Tuesday June 29, 2021, at around 3:30am officers responded to Club Onyx at 1888 Cheshire Bridge Rd NE on a report of shots being fired. On scene officers found an adult male with a gunshot wound. Later a second adult male was transported by POV to an area hospital with a gunshot wound. Both patients are in stable condition. Preliminary investigation found that there had been a gunshot fired inside the club causing the crowd to begin leaving. In the parking lot outside someone began firing gun and security personnel at the nightclub returned fire. It is unclear at this time who was shooting inside the nightclub, who was shooting in the parking lot, or who shot the two people that were wounded. The Aggravated Assault Unit detectives are continuing the investigation.
