Preliminary information:  On July 4, 2021 at around 9:08 p.m., an officer on patrol in their patrol vehicle was flagged down by a female stating a male had been shot at 195 Fairburn Rd NW.  Upon arrival, the officer located a male with multiple gunshot wounds laying on the ground at the location.  The gunshot victim advised he was in the area when a dark colored sedan pulled up next to him and a male suspect started shooting at him.  He advised he did not know the suspect.  The gunshot victim was transported to the hospital alert, conscious and breathing for further medical treatment.  Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
