Preliminary Information:

On 7/3/21, around 10:04 pm, Officers responded to a 620 Mcafee St. in reference to several juveniles fighting in the area. Upon arrival, officers located several juveniles fleeing from the location. Officers continued efforts of clearing the juveniles from the area when they located an unresponsive juvenile male with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers also located two additional juvenile victims with apparent gunshot wounds. They were all transported to the hospital where one succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Officers canvassed the area for additional victims and suspects, and have detained one armed juvenile male. This investigation is active and ongoing.
