Preliminary Information: On July 3rd, 2021, around 6:20 pm, officers responded to a person shot at the location of 1203 Lee ST SW. (AFR Station 14) Upon arrival, officers located a male victim who walked into the Fire Station with a gunshot wound to the hand. He was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital in stable condition. While on scene, officers learned of a second gunshot victim at the location of 969 Dimmock St. SW. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim also with a gunshot wound to the hand. The male was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital in stable condition. Both incidents appear to be related at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
