Atlanta Rapper Arrested For Driving 143 MPH In DeKalb
Atlanta rapper Silento was arrested over the weekend for speeding on I-85.
ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta rapper Silento was caught over the weekend driving 143 mph on I-85 in DeKalb County, according to police.
The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Richard “Ricky” Lamar Hawk, was arrested Friday, reported WSB. He told police that he was coming from a club in Gwinnett and that he was being followed.
According to the police report, Hawk tried to argue with the officer and later said, “I can do 143 because I am not a regular person.”

He was arrested for reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, and improper stopping.
Hawk was taken to the DeKalb County Jail where he was released on bond on Friday around 12 p.m.
Hawk, who is from Stone Mountain, is known for his debut hit single, “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”
