ATLANTA, GA – Whether you love brunch or science, Atlanta has a little something to satisfy everyone. This weekend will welcome not one, but two exciting festivals: the Atlanta Brunch Festival and the Atlanta Science Festival.
If French toast and chemistry aren’t quite your thing, there’s also the Atlanta United Block Party for sports fanatics. And for a great family-friendly option, check out opening day at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Atlanta United Block Party
Neighborhood: Summerhill
It's time to root for the home team in a major way this weekend! To pump fans up for the kick off of MLS season, a block party will be held for Atlanta United fans (21 and over). A ticket to the block party gets you a complimentary beer upon entry, a souvenir Atlanta United Kings cup, entertainment/live music, giveaways and drink specials.

Plenty of laughs are sure to be had at the Atlanta stop for Nick Cannon Presents: MTV Wild 'N Out Live. Along with an appearance from Wild ‘N Out host Nick Cannon, attendees can expect appearances from some of the show’s regulars, including Pretty Vee, Justina Valentine and Karlous Miller. Science In Little 5 Points: The Science Of Kombucha

The Atlanta Science Festival kicks off this weekend, and one of the first festival events to take place is Science in Little 5 Points: The Science of Kombucha. It’s the beverage of choice for many, but there aren’t many who know the true science behind kombucha, a fermented tea. At this hands-on, interactive demonstration, you’ll learn all about kombucha fermentation from the experts. Samples will also be on hand.

Six Flags Over Georgia 2020 Opening Day

Sure, summer is still months away, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait for those sweltering months to enjoy Georgia’s most popular amusement park. This weekend, Six Flags Over Georgia will hold its opening day for 2020. As expected, the amusement park has plenty of new surprises for its new season, including the introduction of the Catwoman Whip and Poison Ivy Toxic Twister rides.

Saturday Toddler Tour
Neighborhood: Midtown
Described as “physically interactive, twenty-minute educational experiences for young children,” the High Museum of Art’s Saturday Toddler Tour is ideal for “budding imaginations.” Dance and drama will be used to help interpret the museum’s art for young minds. The tour is ideal for children 15 months to 3 years of age.

Atlanta Brunch Festival

With its promise of bottomless mimosas and decadent dishes like French toast and shrimp and grits, what isn’t there to love about brunch? For lovers of brunch, the Atlanta Brunch Festival is the place to be this weekend! Depending on the type of ticket purchased, you’ll get bottomless drinks and food tickets for bites from restaurants like Ms. Icey’s Kitchen & Bar and The Mad Greek.

ATL Art Party
Neighborhood: West Midtown
You can expect a night filled with art, food, dancing, drinks and more at UNICEF’s ATL Art Party. The event’s $50 general admission gets you two drink tickets and light eats. Additional ticketing options include an open bar, priority art viewing, a 1-year UNICEF NextGen Membership and other perks. The party will feature art from local Atlanta artists, which will be available for purchase.
