ATLANTA, GA — Marcus Lemonis, host of the national television show "The Profit," is constantly on the lookout for companies he can help make profitable and, in the best cases, grow.

In Tuesday's episode on CNBC at 10 p.m. ET, he thinks he may have found one in Macaron Queen, a mother-daughter company doing business in Perimeter Mall.

"So, I'm going to give you my honest opinion," Lemonis says in one scene to owners Nina Chteoui and her mother, Finia Jahangard. "I actually think this is the best macaron I've ever had — by a lot."

"The Profit" shows Macaron Queen has a couple of issues. First, it does business only in the mall. And, more seriously, the mother has lingering health problems following heart surgery.

"Inside of every business there's a story of why they got there and the troubles they've had," Lemonis says on the show. "The fact that Fiona has had real health scares put a lot of pressure on the business."

"The Profit" is unusual because it's a business show but always filled with some degree of drama as businesses try to stay afloat and owners and employees fight — or not — for survival, sometimes with their company but often with their relationships.

"'The Profit' is a show about business, but it's also about the people in business," Lemonis said in a CNBC news release. "For me, it's not just a financial investment, but rather an opportunity for a real transformation that helps set these business owners up for success."
