Barcelona Wine Bar Murder: Police Reveal Evidence

Chelsea Beller was killed Nov. 19 at the Barcelona Wine Bar. On Wednesday, Atlanta police showed a black hoodie, other clues to the crime.

ATLANTA, GA — In a news conference Wednesday, the Atlanta Police Department displayed a hoodie and revealed other clues gathered while investigating a Nov. 19 robbery at a popular West Midtown restaurant in which a 29-year-old manager was killed. The evidence included other clothing and latex gloves left in a car abandoned near Georgia Tech, according to media reports.

On Nov. 19, three robbers broke into the Barcelona Wine Bar at 1:45 a.m., shortly before closing time, and tied up employees with electrical tape, police say. The suspects forced Chelsea Beller, of Atlanta, to an office upstairs, where they forced her to open a safe and then shot her in the shoulder.

Once officers arrived, Beller was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she later died. The three robbers got away before police arrived.
