Candytopia And Super Museum Sunday: Atlanta This Weekend
Get your sugar fix at Candytopia, purchase a peculiar item at The Atlanta Oddities Market or link up with anime fans at Seishun Con.

ATLANTA, GA — This weekend, you can indulge your sweet tooth while snapping a ton of Instagram-worthy pics at Candytopia. And just in case your sweet tooth is still not satisfied after that, you can also head to Three Taverns Craft Brewery in Decatur for a beer and doughnut pairing.
If you’d prefer to soak up some knowledge this week, you can visit several Atlanta museums for free as part of Super Museum Sunday.

Candytopia Grand Opening
Neighborhood: Buckhead
If you have an affection for sweets and photo-worthy backdrops, Candytopia should certainly be on your radar. Described as a "deliciously fun interactive experience," Candytopia consists of a dozen rooms decked out in colorful hues and a hearty helping of candy. After stays in New York City and San Francisco, the Atlanta location for Candytopia will open its doors this weekend.

Music And A Meal
Neighborhood: West End
Music will merge with the culinary world as part of this weekend's Music And A Meal. In addition to live music performances from Mighty Moe Betta, Evaready Raw and a handful of other artists, guests will also be treated to a live sushi rolling (smoked salmon maki and sautéed mushroom maki!) from Quanstar. Tickets range from $12 to $20.

The Atlanta Oddities Market
Neighborhood: Grant Park
With nearly 30 vendors scheduled for The Atlanta Oddities Market, you can expect an array of peculiar items from both near and far. The all-ages market, which will cost attendees $10 per person, will also include a sideshow performance from Captain & Maybelle.

When: Saturday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m.
Morning Smack + Revolution Doughnuts
Neighborhood: Decatur
Three Taverns is celebrating the 2019 release of their much-loved Morning Smack (maple, bacon, banana, coffee imperial milk stout) in the best way possible: with a doughnut and beer tasting. For the release, Three Taverns has linked with Revolution Doughnuts to offer attendees four mini doughnuts with the purchase of a full pour of Morning Smack.

Mardi Gras Midtown Block Party
Neighborhood: Midtown
Kick off Mardi Gras season on a high note with a block party and bar crawl put on by Atlanta Bar Tours. Nearly 20 bars and restaurants — including Foxtrot and Tiki Tango — are set to take place in this block party. Your $30 ticket includes New Orleans-themed comp shots, "3/2/1 specials" ($3 well cocktails, $2 beers or $1 shots), beads, New Orleans-themed food specials, music and more.

Super Museum Sunday
Neighborhood: Downtown, Midtown
Museum buffs, consider yourselves warned: As part of the Georgia History Festival's Super Museum Sunday, several museums in the Atlanta area have waived their admission fees. Among the participating museums are the High Museum Of Art and the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion & Film.

Seishun Con
Neighborhood: Downtown
Created specifically for fans, Seishun Con highlights the best of Japanese culture, anime and manga. Each day will consist of a medley of events that including fan-led panels and a variety of special events (think: karaoke, cosplay contest, etc).
