ATLANTA, GA — State Farm Arena will host The Chainsmokers as the group travels across North America on its "World War Joy" tour. Get tickets now to the Oct. 22 show for a night of electro-pop music.

After releasing their single "#Selfie" in 2014, DJ duo Alex Pall and Drew Taggart became a huge sensation in the world of EDM, or electronic dance music. The pair continued to drop singles for the next two years, including "Roses" in June 2016, which was an instant success and climbed into the top ten on the U.S. Billboard charts as well as going multi-platinum in other countries.

Their 2016 single "Don’t Let Me Down," featuring the voice of Daya, went on to win a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording. The release of their first album in 2017, "Memories…Do Not Open," pushed The Chainsmokers further into fame, going platinum in just four months. Since then the duo has won numerous awards, including the 2019 International Dance Music Award for Best Male Artist in pop and electronic music.

Joining The Chainsmokers on their tour are 5 Seconds of Summer, also known as 5SOS, and Lennon Stella. 5SOS is an Australian pop rock group that started out performing cover songs on YouTube. In 2014 the members debuted their first single, "She Looks So Perfect," which quickly climbed to the top of the Australian, New Zealand, and U.K. charts. Since then, they’ve won 50 awards, including the 2019 iHeartRadio award for Best Duo/Group of the Year.

Lennon Stella, a native of Ontario, Canada will bring her own style as opening act to The Chainsmokers with a unique country-pop sound.

The "World War Joy" tour promises to be filled with high energy and dance tunes as The Chainsmokers perform new tracks as well as many of their well-known songs such as "Until You Were Gone," featuring Emily Warren, and "Sick Boy."
