Charlie Crawford to Board of Community Bankers Association

Charlie Crawford, Chairman & CEO of Hyperion Bank, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia as a Member at Large for 2021-22 at the organization’s recent Annual Convention.

Crawford also served on the CBA Board for the previous year. In addition to his CBA Board service, he serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers, as Hyperion originated in Philadelphia.

“Community banking is truly of, by and for the community, and part of supporting that greater community is service through important industry groups like the CBA of Georgia,” Crawford says. “I am honored to serve on the board with colleagues from locally owned community banks across Georgia.”

CBA represents approximately 140 community banks and 150 associate member companies, offering services in Legislative issues, Professional Development and Member Services. It is the state’s only advocate working solely for the interests of community banks and their customers.
