City Of Atlanta Announces Change In Memorial Day Solid Waste Collection Schedule
There will be no collection of residential solid waste services, including garbage, recycling, or bulk collections, on Monday, May 31.

The City of Atlanta announced that the Department of Public Works (DPW) Office of Solid Waste Services will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 2021. There will be no collection of residential solid waste services, including garbage, recycling, or bulk collections. The schedule has been revised to include a one-day delay throughout the holiday week, beginning with services scheduled on Monday. Residents whose regular collection day is Friday, June 4, will receive collection services on Saturday, June 5.
