Cookies With Santa And Holiday Block Party: Atlanta This Weekend

ATLANTA, GA – From Cookies With Santa at Zoo Atlanta to the Children’s Christmas Parade, there’s plenty taking place this weekend to get you in the holiday spirit. And if you're looking for a day of excitement, look no further than the World of Coca-Cola, which will be offering free admission to everyone Sunday.
For sports fans, this week’s Falcons vs. Panthers game will also include former Falcon Roddy White’s Ring of Honor induction. And if you’d rather indulge in some high-ABV brew, Wrecking Bar Brewpub will host its Wrecking Bar Strong Beer Festival.

High Frequency Friday
Neighborhood: Midtown
At High Frequency Friday, you can expect to “turn up the volume at the High with great music, signature drinks, and our reimagined galleries.” This monthly event at the High Museum of Art will feature a guided tour of "Sally Mann: A Thousand Crossings," a delicious signature cocktail and tunes from DJ Maga Stories.

Cookies With Santa
Neighborhood: Grant Park
If your little ones have yet to get in their meet-and-greet with Santa, Zoo Atlanta is providing the perfect opportunity to do just that. As part of Cookies With Santa, those on the nice list will get a personal visit with Santa Claus and a professional photo. There will also be plenty of hot chocolate and cookies, as well as festive crafts, animal encounters, music and more.

Children’s Christmas Parade
Neighborhood: Midtown Atlanta
Presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the annual Children’s Christmas Parade is always a fun, festive time. For this special parade, midtown Atlanta will quite literally transform into a winter wonderland as marching bands and creative floats make their way down Peachtree Street. The parade will, of course, conclude with the official arrival of Santa.

Wrecking Bar Strong Beer Festival
Neighborhood: Inman Park
If you’re not the biggest fan of the low-ABV trend in craft beer, then the Wrecking Bar Strong Beer Festival is precisely where you should be this weekend. This festival will only serve beers that are 8 percent ABV and higher. More than 100 beers will be on hand for sampling at the event, mostly from local breweries.

Holiday Block Party
Neighborhood: Buckhead
You can’t help but love a holiday block party that also involves shopping. As part of their holiday block party, The Shops Buckhead will host special in-store experiences and offer various restaurant specials. There will also be live entertainment, complimentary gift wrapping, fun activities and festive pet portraits.

World Of Coca-Cola Free Admission Day
Neighborhood: Downtown
For the first time, the World of Coca-Cola will offer free admission to absolutely everyone. In addition to free admission, those who visit the World of Coca-Cola on Sunday will also receive a commemorative glass Coca-Cola bottle (while supplies last). For those who have never been to the beverage giant’s museum, you can expect to sample Coca-Cola products from around the world, all while learning about the history of Coca-Cola.

Falcons vs. Panthers
Neighborhood: Downtown
Any hopes that the Atlanta Falcons had for playoff glory have been dashed, but the show must go on. The Falcons will take on the Carolina Panthers this Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the game will include a special ceremony. Former wide receiver Roddy White will be inducted into the Ring of Honor at this weekend’s game.
