ATLANTA, GA — Spring is continuing to heat up in Atlanta — and this weekend features yet another wide array of events! Kick things off on a zen note with Drake Yoga at Kirkwood’s Seviin Yoga. Or, sample a variety of beers and wines at the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival and the East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival.

For a more family-friendly option, head to Robots Day at the Fernbank Museum or the Amazon Treasure Truck Pup Fest in Piedmont Park.

Drake Yoga

Neighborhood: Kirkwood

Get your “om” on while also enjoying tunes from award-winning singer/rapper Drake. Drake Yoga is a heated, all levels vinyasa flow class powered by a variety of tunes from Drake. No mat? No problem. Seviin Yoga will provide complimentary mats and towels for those who need it.

Robots Day

Who can pass up the opportunity to attend a robot block party? As part of Robots Day at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, children of all ages will learn how robots are making advances in science, medicine, commerce, human collaboration and more. Attendees can expect hands-on activities from the LEGO BOOST Robot, Droid Builders and the Georgia Tech Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines.

Kirkwood Spring Fling & Tour of Homes

Neighborhood: Kirkwood

This year’s Kirkwood Spring Fling & Tour of Homes serves as their 17th annual event, and this year's event continues to bring in crowds. This year’s festivities will include a festival, 5K road race and a tour of homes.

Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

There’s certainly no shortage of wine festivals here in Atlanta. But in case you’ve missed out on past fests, this weekend brings you the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival. Entry to this wine festival gets you a souvenir Uncorked Atlanta tasting glass and complimentary wine and craft beer tastings (over 50 sampling options). Vino enthusiasts can also expect a DJ and food for purchase.

Film Impact Georgia Launch

Neighborhood: West End

With the state of Georgia continuing to make strides as a major player in the film industry, organizations like Film Impact Georgia ensure that local filmmakers are also benefitting from the state’s film boom. During their launch party, Film Impact Georgia will recap the successes of the Georgia film industry and also raise money to award local filmmakers with grants that can be used to create films.

Amazon Treasure Truck Pup Fest

Neighborhood: Midtown

It looks like Atlanta is next up on the Amazon Treasure Truck Pup Fest multi-city tour. Described as “an amusement park of activities and treats to celebrate dogs and dog owners,” Pup Fest will include a signature puppy kissing booth, obstacle course activities, a tasting kitchen, a barkery and more. As an added bonus, Pup Fest is absolutely free!

East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival

Neighborhood: East Atlanta

If wine isn’t quite your thing, don’t fret. Also taking place this weekend is the East Atlanta Craft Beer Festival. East Atlanta’s Brownwood Park will provide the perfect setting to kick back while enjoying cold brew from several vendors. Live music, souvenir glasses and more will be on hand during the boozy festival.
