The Eyes Have It: Mugshot Leads To Modeling Contract: ICYMI
The eyes have it: Man's mugshot leads to contract with modeling agency in Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA -- A man's mugshot has landed him a contract with an Atlanta modeling agency, Patch has learned. Mekhi Alante Lucky, 20, was arrested last year for allegedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Lucky's unique look -- he has different-colored eyes, courtesy of a genetic condition called heterochromia -- led his mugshot to go viral on the Internet. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
St. Claire Modeling signed Lucky some time ago but images from his first photoshoot, taken by Atlanta photographer Ahmad Barber were just recently released and shared on social media. “Last year, I began seeing Mekhi’s mugshot on Instagram. I instantly knew that he was perfect for St. Claire Modeling,” Damiani O’Bryant of St. Claire Modeling told BuzzFeed.

Now Lucky will get the chance to show off his good looks at Fashion Week next month in New York, Inside Edition reports.

Although Lucky is comfortable in front of a camera, he is also no stranger to handcuffs. The North Carolina native's arrests in recent years include alleged assault of a female and alleged breaking and entering, according to WCPO-TV.

Lucky has been given the moniker "Prison Bae," even though he never was sentenced to prison nor does he have a felony. But from the likes and comments on his Instagram page, there are some people out there that are willing to do some serious time for him -- and with him.
Lucky's good fortune is similar to "hot felon" Jeremy Meeks, a fashion model who rose to fame after a mugshot was shared online after his 2014 arrest during a gang sweep in Stockton, California. Meeks reportedly left his wife who stood by his side during his legal troubles, according to news reports.
Fans have warned Lucky not to be like that guy.
