Falcons LB Deion Jones To Appear At New DICK's Sporting Goods Store

ATLANTA, GA – An appearance by Atlanta Falcons linebacker Deion Jones on Saturday will highlight a three-day Grand Opening celebration of a new DICK’s Sporting Goods store at Perimeter Point.

Jones, who helped lead the Falcons to the Super Bowl as a rookie last season, will be at the store at 1155 Mt. Vernon Highway from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday to greet fans and sign autographs.

All the festivities begin on Friday and will include product giveaways, demonstrations by industry experts and activities for attendees of all ages.

The door to the new store first opens Friday morning at 8 a.m. Guests are encouraged to get in line early as the first 100 people in line will receive a free Adidas “Go-To Performance” T-Shirt.

The new store will open at the same time on Saturday, with the first 100 people in line will receiving a free Mystery Gift Card ranging in value from $10 to $500. One lucky person will win the $500 card.

Wristbands will be required for attendees seeking Jones’ autograph. The wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at the store’s open on the day of event only.

Attendees must be present to receive a wristband and they will be limited to just one per person. Attendees must have a wristband and must be in the Special Appearance line prior to the start of the appearance to receive an autograph.

The new DICK’s Sporting Goods store opens at 9 a.m. on Sunday, with the first 100 people in line again receiving a free Mystery Gift Card ranging in value from $10 to $500. One lucky person will once again win the $500 card. Festivities that day will include the “Ready, Set, Roll! Challenge” that will test kids ages 6-15 in strength, agility, and speed from noon to 2 p.m. Prizes will be awarded upon completion of the challenge.

Winners of the gift cards and Gift Locker promotions must be legal residents of the U.S. or District of Columbia and at least 18 years old. The winners must be present to win.
