Four People Shot At West End Mall In Atlanta

Four people were shot at the West End Mall in Southwest Atlanta on Friday afternoon

(6:28 p.m.) ATLANTA, Ga. – Four people were shot at a Southwest Atlanta mall on Friday afternoon, according to the Atlanta Police Department said.

APD is confirming that there were four gunshot victims – three males and one female – at 850 Oak St. at the West End Mall. All the victims were transported to local hospitals. One of the males was shot to the head, while another suffered a bullet wound to the leg. The female was grazed in the arm by a bullet. An APD spokesperson said the drive-by shooting appears to be gang-related.

The victim who was shot in the head remains alive at this time, but no other details are known.

In the meantime, the police are asking for the public's help in finding a white Hyundai that may have been used in the shooting. There was no tag information available, but the car has paint chipping on the hood of the vehicle. The drivers are suspects in the shooting and are considered armed and dangerous.
