ATLANTA -- Longtime Fulton County Commissioner Emma Darnell died Sunday at age 84. According to the commission, Darnell died at her Atlanta home.
Darnell was currently serving as district 6 commissioner.
Darnell had an extensive career in public service. She had served on the board of commissioners since 1992 and was in her eighth term.
