Fulton County Sheriff's Office H.Y.P.E. Conference planned for Oct. 14 in Atlanta.

ATLANTA, GA -- Throngs of young people are invited to come out and learn about the justice system, law enforcement, the judicial system and the scourge of gangs and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office annual H.Y.P.E. (Helping Youth Prosper & Evolve) Conference this fall.

A number of workshops will be geared toward navigating your teenage years, focusing on how to steer clear of bad influences. The instructors for the workshops will be professionals in the respective fields of the judicial system, law enforcement and the like.

Instructors slated to appear include Fulton County Superior Court Judge Eric Dunaway, Clayton County Chief Magistrate Judge Wanda Dallas, Attorney Andre Sailers, Attorney Gabe Banks, former gang member Akeem Woodard, Fulton County Battalion Fire Chief Markus Jones, and Youth Motivational Speaker Omar Howard.

Parents are also invited as there will be a workshop and discussion panel catering to them, including such high-profile public figures as:
