Georgia State University 2017 Football Schedule: New Stadium, New Attitude

Here is the Georgia State University 2017 football schedule. With a new stadium, can GSU attract top-tier talent?

ATLANTA, GA -- The Georgia State University Panthers are a team on the move: new stadium, new address, new attitude? That's all that needs to change for GSU as they begin the 2017 campaign.

This season, the Panthers will play at newly christened Georgia State University Stadium, known to longtime Atlantans as the former site of Turner Field.

"The tempo has been good, and the concentration level has been high, so I'm pleased thus far," head coach Shawn Elliott said at a recent preseason practice, according to GSU's website.

Coaches hope the new digs will transfer into a new attitude for a squad that went 3-9 last season to finish eighth in the Sun Belt Conference. This year, GSU faces some very beatable opponents. Check out Georgia State University's 2017 football schedule.
