Georgia Weather Forecast: Cold, But Mostly Sunny This Week

Small chance of rain in the next few days, but the temperatures will drop before things begin warming up again on Friday

ATLANTA, Ga. ‑ Well, the good news is that the metropolitan Atlanta area isn’t digging out from a deluge of snow and ice like their many good friends in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the country are.

The bad news is that the frigid temperatures gripping the region here are going to stick around until respite of sorts arrives with Friday’s relative warm-up.

Wednesday figures to be the coldest and windiest day of the week, with temperatures expected to rise no higher than 42 degrees during the daytime hours. Thursday will be a bit warmer, but still on the chilly side before temperatures again reach the mid-60s by Friday.
