Green p.s. Puts Down Roots in Trilith

New interior plant shop will feature events and classes along with natural products

Green p.s. is now open at Town Centre, Trilith's retail district featuring shops, restaurants and luxury apartments. Offering guests plants, plant-related products and classes, Green p.s. embraces its history and experience in cinematography as well as Trilith’s proximity and involvement in the film industry.

The upscale live plant shop features plants, related decor, pottery, organic soils and unique decorative goods. Complementing the town’s commitment to art and creativity, the shop’s proprietor plans to work with local artists to create exclusive lines of pottery, living walls, faux plants, holiday themed decor and other unique items. Later this summer, additional offerings will include community-oriented, educational plant courses and events featuring members of the Fayetteville Master Gardeners on topics such as propagation, soil amendment, repotting and more. The space will also be available for private event bookings and will even offer golf cart delivery service exclusively for residents of Trilith.

The shop is owned and operated by Bryan A. McBrien, one of the founders of Cinema Greens, who served as a Hollywood greens coordinator and production designer on big-budget films for more than 20 years. The plant nursery will also feature Hollywood connections with original props on display; a massive high-definition projection system for themed events; tie-ins for seasonal and holiday décor; products featured on-stage through a contract with The Eastern, Atlanta’s newest concert facility; and a podcast, salon and film series partnership with Georgia Box Office.

“Green p.s. creates a unique customer experience by incorporating our knowledge of filmsets and proximity to the studios into our creative products and classes,” said McBrien. “We want to put a spotlight on the craftspeople behind-the-scenes who work as set builders, hair and make-up artists, costume designers, prop masters and all other trades of a film crew that bring storytelling to life.”

The plant shop is one of several new retail shops and restaurants scheduled to join an ever-expanding list this year in Trilith’s 235-acre master-planned residential and mixed-use development. Located across from Trilith Studios, the second largest film studio in North America and home of Marvel’s Avengers films, the award-winning new urbanist community will include nearly 1,400 homes while emphasizing creativity and artwork in all aspects of the buildings, amenities and green spaces.

“We’re proud to welcome Green p.s. to our Town Centre,” said Rob Parker, president of Trilith. “Our residents and visitors are already delighted by the wide variety of merchandise and nods to iconic films. We’re pleased to include another shop and owner who shares the community’s passion for a green, eco-friendly lifestyle while adding unique experiences for our residents.”

Green p.s. is the latest business to open in a fast-growing Trilith Town Centre. The Piedmont Wellness Center, Honeysuckle Gelato, Amici Italian Café, Barleygarden Kitchen and Craft Bar and Hop City are already open in Trilith Town Centre, with the following announced retailers planned for late 2021: Leyland Blue, Nourish + Bloom Market, Trilith Food Hall, The Collective (from the makers of Native Beauty Bar), The Skin Society, Sugarcoat, Premiere Hair Studio, a concierge by Edwin Jarvis, Woodstone Bakery & Café from the makers of Apple Butter Bakery, Braise, Archer Paper Goods, The Funky Shack and The Market. The development also plans to open a nine-screen luxury movie theatre.
