Holiday Soirees and Shopping Spectaculars: Atlanta This Weekend
Get in the holiday spirit with Christmas tree lightings and festive shopping, or indulge in a boozy brunch at Drunken Brunch ATL.

ATLANTA, GA – Even though Thanksgiving turkeys have yet to be carved, the holiday festivities are gradually kicking off. This weekend brings both the 2019 Tree Lighting at The Battery and “A Christmas Carol” at the Alliance Theatre.
If the holiday spirit hasn't quite hit you yet, there’s also the Plant Based Drippin Festival and Drunken Brunch ATL. Care to do a little holiday shopping? Then head to the Indie Craft Experience's 2019 Holiday Shopping Spectacular.

Bottle & Board At Urban Tree Cidery
Neighborhood: West Midtown
Gather a few friends and head to Urban Tree Cidery this Friday for its Bottle & Board night. From 4 to 10 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to purchase a 750 ml cider and a charcuterie board for only $30. Additionally, the tasting room at Urban Tree Cidery offers an assortment of games, so you can keep entertained as you snack and sip.

Indie Craft Experience's Holiday Shopping Spectacular
Neighborhood: Downtown
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or want to pick up a few things for family and friends, the Indie Craft Experience's 2019 Holiday Shopping Spectacular serves as the opportunity to do either or both. For the first time, the market will take place inside the Georgia World Congress Center. And in addition to numerous vendors, there will also be a handful of fun activities (palm readings, aura photography, etc).

Plant Based Drippin Festival
Neighborhood: West End
For those curious about the plant-based meal options that have quickly soared in popularity, the city of Atlanta has proved to be a great place to try out vegan fare. One option for the plant-based curious is this weekend’s inaugural Plant Based Drippin Festival. The free event will feature some of Atlanta’s tastiest vegan bites and will feature live performances, trap yoga and more.

W Holiday Soiree
Neighborhood: Downtown
Holiday party season has arrived, and even the W Atlanta Downtown has chosen to get in on the festive fun. The W Holiday Soiree will include a pop-up shop, 30-minute photo shoots and a craft cocktail class.

Drunken Brunch ATL
Neighborhood: Midtown
Described as “a first class extravagant Southern-themed brunch party,” Drunken Brunch ATL is a foodie favorite that will be returning this weekend. In addition to sampling a modern Southern menu crafted by Chef Scotley Innis, attendees will also be able to indulge in crafted cocktails and, of course, sips of bubbly. To heighten the experience, Drunken Brunch ATL will take place at Rose & Rye, which is inside the historic Castle building.

2019 Tree Lighting
Neighborhood: The Battery
Get ready to jump into the holiday spirit at the third annual Tree Lighting at The Battery. The evening will consist of a medley of spirited activities, including free Santa photos at the SunTrust onUp Experience. There will also be musical performances from the Allatoona High School Jazz Band and a handful of other acts.

A Christmas Carol
Neighborhood: Midtown
Close out the weekend and kick off the holiday season with a classic. The onstage adaptation of Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol” returns to the Alliance Theatre this month, as well as next month. Tickets can be purchased for as little as $17.50.
