ATLANTA, GA — As we inch closer to the holiday season, the city is brimming with events tailored to hot chocolate-sipping, Santa-loving holiday goers. Whether you're helping Wake Up Santa at the Georgia Aquarium or watching the lighting of the Grand Christmas Tree at Atlantic Station, there's an ample number of festive events going on.

You can also partake in non-holiday events, including a rum tasting and complimentary yoga with Organized Noize.

Rums Of Puerto Rico's Pop-Up Tour

Neighborhood: Downtown

Prepare to indulge in a taste of the tropics during Rums of Puerto Rico's fifth stop on their pop-up tour around the United States. The schedule for the evening includes an aged-rums tasting seminar led by Rums of Puerto Rico Brand Ambassador Ramon Diaz, along with live music and plenty of giveaways.

Hand-Picked Comedy At Urban Tree

Neighborhood: West Midtown

For the latest installment of Hot Mic Comedy and Urban Tree Cidery's Hand-Picked Comedy, the two teams have recruited comedians Benton Hickerson, Laura Peek and Olivia Cathcart. Sips from Urban Tree's selection of ciders will be on hand for your drinking pleasure.

Wake Up Santa

The Georgia Aquarium is dealing with a very sleepy Santa, and they need visitors’ help in waking him up in any way possible. Tickets to Wake Up Santa are available for $14.95 for non-member adults and $9.95 for non-member children.

ADAC Day Of Design At The Home For The Holidays Showhouse

Neighborhood: Buckhead

A who's who of Atlanta's interior design talent — including Carole Weaks and Kristin Kong — will be on hand to lend their expertise at the Home For The Holidays Showhouse this Saturday. The ADAC Day Of Design is just one of a handful of events that will take place at the showhouse, which opened its doors on November 15.

Three Taverns 5th Anniversary Party

Neighborhood: Decatur

Three Taverns Brewery is celebrating quite the milestone this weekend. In honor of their fifth anniversary, the brewery will celebrate the occasion with more than 40 beers on tap, a photo booth, music, food trucks and games during a big party on Saturday. Tickets to the event can be purchased for $35.

Light The Station

Neighborhood: Midtown

The holidays are truly upon us once it's time to Light The Station. Gather at Atlantic Station for a day full of holiday activities, which will lead up to the lighting of the Grand Christmas Tree. In addition to Light The Station, Skate The Station (Atlantic Station's outdoor ice skating rink) will also launch on Saturday.

Celebrate Atlanta Block Party

Neighborhood: Midtown

Enjoy a day of music and wellness, courtesy of lululemon and Atlanta icons Organized Noize. Attendees can enjoy complimentary yoga at noon before indulging in a slice or two of pizza from Antico. Be sure to pick up your wristband at the lululemon store on Howell Mill in order to take part in the day's festivities.
