Metro Atlanta Under Freeze Warning Monday PM, Tuesday AM
Temperatures could drop into the low 20s Monday night, as the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning through Tuesday morning.
PEACHTREE CITY, GA -- All of metro Atlanta will be under a freeze warning from 8 pm Monday through 11 am Tuesday. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will drop to 32 degrees throughout the metro Atlanta by 8 pm, and could drop as low as 22 degrees Monday night.
Forecasters said the temperatures could kill crops, sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Every metro Atlanta county is included in the warning, as is north Georgia and much of central Georgia.
