Michelle Obama’s Org Hosts Drive-In Concert For GA Voter Turnout
When We All Vote, a nonprofit led by Michelle Obama, will host Celebrate Georgia to build voter momentum before the Jan. 5 Senate runoffs.

ATLANTA, GA — Georgians can enjoy performances from leading local and national talent at Celebrate Georgia, a drive-in concert ahead of the Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections — and hosted by Michelle Obama’s nonprofit, When We All Vote, according to a Dec. 21 press release from the nonprofit.
The concert, scheduled for Jan. 3 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta, is aimed at promoting voter participation and building momentum as Election Day for the Senate runoffs approach. Musical guests include Monica, Rick Ross, DJ Drama, Jack Harlow and Pastor Troy, with Kenny Burns and Su Solo as hosts, according to the release.
The show will also include segments from When We All Vote’s co-chairs Michelle Obama, Janelle Monae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kerry Washington and Chris Paul; ambassadors Jeezy, Common, Jidenna, Darren Criss, Sophia Bush and Tommy Dorfman; and others, per the press release.

"Celebrate Georgia will remind voters of their power, inspire voters to make their voices heard again, encourage volunteers and shine a light on the work happening on the ground in the Peach State," the release said.
A limited number of tickets for parking spaces will be available for the event through Ticketmaster. Members of the public can visit whenweallvote.org/concert to RSVP for the livestream and see the announcement that tickets are available.

Early voting began statewide Dec. 14, and continues through Dec. 31 — aside from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day — in most counties. To request an absentee ballot, see where and when to vote, or check your voter registration status, visit mvp.sos.ga.gov.
