ModivCare Partners with Amario’s Art Academy in Atlanta
Donation Included Wireless Tablets for Students in Virtual Art Education Program
ModivCare Inc. (“ModivCare” or the “Company”), a technology-enabled healthcare services company that provides a suite of integrated supportive care solutions focused on improving patient outcomes, has donated wireless Samsung tablets to students enrolled at Amario’s Art Academy for the Gifted & Talented, making it possible to continue art education virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The transition to virtual learning has created a need for students to have new physical tools in their hands so that they may continue creating art. ModivCare’s tablet donation gives enrolled students in grades 3-12 the opportunity to adjust to using a tablet screen as their canvas - technology they will also utilize in the real world one day as they pursue professional careers in the arts.
“Our students enjoy being hands-on and face-to-face and had to quickly adjust and change everything due to the pandemic,” said Amario’s Art Academy Director of Operations, Shondella Andre. “ModivCare’s wireless tablet donation came at the perfect time – keeping students engaged and enabling them to continue doing what they love - art.”
