A Mother And Her Adult Daughter Found Murdered In Lithonia
Domestic violence may have been the cause of the double-homicide that left a mother and her adult daughter dead.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA – The Dekalb County Police Department is investigating a double-homicide that claimed the lives of a mother and her adult daughter.
According to a report by WSB-TV, the bodies of a mother and her adult daughter were found inside a house in the 200o block of Parkway Trail in Lithonia early Wednesday morning.
The TV is reporting that both victims had been shot, with the body of one found upstairs and the other downstairs. DeKalb County police said a baby was found alive inside the home, but was Ok, according to the television report.

Police said they have a person of interest in custody, who was detained at another location. WSB-TV reported that the man has not yet been charged.
Police have not identified the women, but the mother was in her 40s and her daughter was in her 20s. Law enforcement officials told the television station that they believe the murders were a result of domestic violence.
