ATLANTA, GA — With Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, there are plenty of mom-friendly activities to take part in this weekend. You can bring the whole family to Family Zoo Yoga or head to Piedmont Park for Keller Williams’ Family Fest for some food and fun.
And once it’s time to unwind, take a trip to Punch Bowl Social at The Battery for a “childproof” Mother’s Day brunch.

Shaky Beats Music Festival
Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward
While last week's Shaky Knees showcased rock and indie rock acts, Shaky Beats is all about electronic, indie and Hip Hop music. Among the artists headlining the high-energy music festival are Martin Garrix, Rufus Du Sol and Big Gigantic. Additionally, there will be brand activations from Patron Tequila, Chipotle, Heineken and much more.

Fernbank After Dark

Get ready for an evening brimming with art and science at the adults-only Fernbank After Dark. At the Art & Science edition of Fernbank After Dark, there will be Free Art Friday drops from local artists, live music from Chelsea Shag, an opportunity to explore WildWoods and more. And there will of course be a variety of beer, wine and cocktails available for purchase.

Family Zoo Yoga

For the little ones who might need some help being as poised as their favorite zoo animal, now's their chance. During Family Zoo Yoga at Zoo Atlanta, attendees 4 years old and up will experience 30 to 40 minutes of animal-inspired yoga poses with a certified instructor. The theme for this month’s yoga class is Primate Poses.

Wrecking Bar Wild, Wild Beer Festival

Brew lovers who are particularly interested in sour and wild ales can head to Wrecking Bar Brewpub for a beer festival that specializes in those specific varieties. Along with sour and wild ales from Georgia, there will also be barrel-aged sour beers made in America and Europe. And for the first time ever there will be cheese. Yes, cheese samples.

Family Fest
Neighborhood: Midtown
Sponsored by Keller Williams, Family Fest will undoubtedly feature fun for the whole family. Taking place between the swimming pool and tennis courts in Piedmont Park, Family Fest will include food, games, music by a live DJ and plenty of prizes up for the taking. And the best part is the festival is absolutely free to attend.

Punch Bowl Social Mother’s Day Brunch

It’s no secret, moms love brunch. While a plethora of options for Mother’s Day brunch are available in the city, only Punch Bowl Social offers the option to “childproof your Mother’s Day.” During their brunch, there will be free arcade games for kids, a kids buffet, “Mom”-osa bar and a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary bar.

Second Sunday At The High Museum Of Art

Additionally, there will be a number of family-friendly activities on hand, including art making and story time.
