If you prefer to stay indoors, you can opt for an evening of poetry and great coffee at Gilly Brew Bar’s Coffee, Brew + Bars. In an attempt to stay stress-free throughout the holidays, wind down with a free one-hour guided meditation on Sunday.

Party like it's 1999 (minus that whole Y2K scare) at JEZEBEL Magazine’s Throwback To The '90s Party at Park Tavern. Arrive decked out in your freshest '90s gear and enjoy throwback tunes from DJ NAKD. Handcrafted cocktails and beer will also be on hand as you take a trip down memory lane.

2018 Children's Christmas Parade

Neighborhood: Midtown

One of the biggest holiday parades in Atlanta will make its way down Peachtree Street this weekend, delighting both children and kids at heart. The parade, which will also be broadcast on local television, will culminate with an appearance from Santa himself. Although the event is free to attend, bleacher seats can be purchased.

Where: Parade starts at Peachtree Street at 16th Street

Meet Chef Todd Richards, Author Of “Soul”

Neighborhood: Midtown

Delve into the world of soul food with Chef Todd Richards with a food demo and book signing at Posman Books. As the author of "Soul," which features 150 recipes, Chef Richards will share the story of his culinary exploration of soul food as part of this in-store event.

Coffee, Brew + Bars

Neighborhood: Stone Mountain Village

For the poetically inclined, Stone Mountain Village coffee shop Gilly Brew Bar will host Coffee, Brew + Bars. The event will serve as a poetry showcase and will also include tunes from a live DJ. Be sure to try one of Gilly's signature coffee elixirs.

Onesie Bar Crawl

Neighborhood: Buckhead

If you thought onesies were made solely for lounging around in the comfort of your own home, think again. Grab your favorite onesie and head to Buckhead this weekend for the Onesie Bar Crawl. The bar crawl will begin at Moondogs and will makes its way to various bars in Buckhead. Oh, and don't forget to pick up your LED pacifier at check-in.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Drafty Kilt Variant Tasting

Neighborhood: West End

After already racking up accolades with their Bourbon Barrel-Aged Drafty Kilt (BBDK), the brewing team over at Monday Night Brewing are back at it with three different variants of their BBDK. Among the variants that will be featured at this tasting event at Monday Night Garage are: Tiramisu, Maple Bacon and Apple Cinnamon.
