ATLANTA, GA – Whether you’re looking to brush up on your whiskey knowledge or cheer on Atlanta United, this weekend is sure to be an eventful one. With brisk temperatures in the forecast over the next few days, opt to head indoors for a whiskey tasting or a pasta making class. Or channel your inner brainiac during a Neuroscience Art Exhibit at Georgia State University.

Whiskey Tasting At Southern Elements

Brush up on your whiskey know-how with a whiskey tasting at Southern Elements. In addition to learning the history of whiskey and its aging technique, you’ll have the opportunity to sample several whiskeys. For $35, attendees will receive five food pairings and five whiskey tastings.

For lovers of either art or neuroscience (or both!) Georgia State University will hold an art show combining the two. The Neuroscience Art Exhibit is completely free to attend, though donations will be accepted, and the event will also include a reception.

"Most Wanted" With DJ Rock Most

Tired of dance parties where social media gets more play than the DJ? Once you’ve had your fill on the dance floor, grab a craft cocktail or an assortment of small plates.

"The Pasta Tour: Campania" Pasta Making Class
Neighborhood: Decatur
Put your talent in the kitchen to good use with a pasta making class at The White Bull. Serving as the latest in a series of classes hosted at The White Bull, this weekend’s class will set its sights on the Campania region in Southwestern Italy. With the guidance of The White Bull’s Executive Chef Pat Pascarella, attendees will make three dishes specific to the Campania region. Tickets to the pasta making class are $65 per person.

Alex And Ani Holiday Pop-Up

MLS Cup Final

Arguably one of the biggest events taking place in Atlanta this week is the MLS Cup Final. This weekend’s match will pit hometown heroes Atlanta United against the Portland Timbers. For those who weren’t able to snag tickets to the big game, you can expect plenty of fanfare in the hours leading up to this historic match.

Santa Claus At Scofflaw Brewing Co.
