As we inch closer to August, the back-to-school countdown is quickly approaching, and both students and their parents will start the chore of tracking down all those essential school supplies. Unfortunately, not every student has access to back-to-school necessities. To help ensure that underserved students in metro Atlanta are prepared with backpacks, paper, binders, folders and other supplies, the Back To School 5K is raising money to do just that. Registration to the 5K ranges in prices from $25 to $40, and that money will be used to purchase school supplies.
