Peachtree Center To Host Holiday Happenings

ATLANTA, GA —Peachtree Center is Downtown Atlanta’s home for the holidays this season as the mixed-use center announces a line-up of festive events beginning in December. Peachtree Center’s courtyard will also be adorned with a spectacular 40-foot Christmas tree and other cheerful decor throughout the holiday season.

“We’re so excited to celebrate this special time of year with all of the office workers and guests at Peachtree Center,” said Leslie Bland, director of marketing at Peachtree Center. “From music in the food court to a delightful holiday market with local goods, Peachtree Center will be Downtown Atlanta’s holiday headquarters.”

Peachtree Center’s holiday happenings are:

Holiday Green Market: On Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Peachtree Center’s popular Green Market returns for a special holiday market in the shopping center. Favorite local vendors will offer a variety of festive merchandise from baked goods to local honey to bath bombs, perfect for lunch break holiday gift shopping.

Sounds of the Season: Every Thursday in December, Peachtree Center will be filled with festive musical performances during lunchtime. The line-up for Sounds of the Season is:

o Dec. 1: The Mar-Tans

o Dec. 8: Last 5 Standing

o Dec. 15: The Daniel Jackson Review

o Dec. 22: Unknown Lyric

o Dec. 29: Lilac Wine

Christmas Tree: Peachtree Center’s beautiful 40-foot Christmas tree will return to the courtyard for the holiday season this year. The tree display will be accompanied with festive red and green lights projected on Peachtree Center’s office buildings. Snap a photo of the tree and post it on Instagram using #PeachtreeCenter during December for a chance to be featured on Peachtree Center’s account!

Peachtree Marketplace: Recently opened in the mall area, Peachtree Marketplace is comprised of four tenants: Baker Dude Cupcakes, Flame of Life, Southern Candy Company and Qwik 2 Fix Smartphone Repair & Accessories.
