'Person Of Interest' Sought In Teen's Fatal Shooting In Atlanta
Police release sketch of "person of interest" in shooting death of Ja'Carlos Jefferies, 19, who was gunned down outside a grocery in July.

ATLANTA, GA -- Police in Atlanta are asking the public's help in finding a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a teenager outside of a grocery. Ja’Carlos Jefferies, 19, was shot this past summer, but authorities have just recently come up with a sketch of a man they want to question about the incident.

A sketch of the person of interest is being distributed by law enforcement after officers were able to interview witnesses. Investigators said the gunman and victim apparently knew each other.

Jefferies was shot multiple times outside a Food Mart grocery, police said. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The person of interst is described as a black male with a scar by his right eye and a teardrop tattoo by his left, authorities said.
