Portion Of Dill Avenue To Be Closed For 4 Days
A portion of Dill Avenue in Atlanta will be closed for about four days for sewer line replacement work.
ATLANTA, GA — The city of Atlanta issued a 24-hour emergency road closure on a portion of Dill Avenue for sewer line replacement work, according to a press release from the city Thursday.
Dill Avenue will be closed all day for about four days between Hartford and Allene avenues, weather permitting. Crews are replacing the existing sewer services and main sewer line in that area, resulting in the road closure.
Traffic control measures will be in place to guide drivers around the work zone. Residents, business owners, employees and customers residing in or near the work zone or needing to enter the work zone will continue to have access to their homes and businesses, according to the release. Drivers entering the work zone are asked to proceed with caution and avoid the area if possible.

For drivers traveling east on Dill Avenue:

- Turn left onto Hartford Avenue toward Erin Avenue;
- Turn right onto Erin toward Allene Avenue;
- Turn right onto Allene toward Dill Avenue;
- Turn left onto Dill to continue traveling east.
For drivers traveling west on Dill Avenue:
- Turn right onto Allene Avenue toward Erin Avenue;
- Turn left onto Erin toward Hartford Avenue;
- Turn left onto Hartford toward Dill;
- Turn right onto Dill to continue traveling west.
