ATLANTA, GA — Rapper and R&B singer Post Malone is coming to Atlanta this October. Malone will perform at the State Farm Arena as part of his new "Runaway Tour," and tickets are now on sale.

Known by his stage name Post Malone, the rapper was born Austin Richard Post in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Grapevine, Texas. Malone's career hit its stride with the release of the single "White Iverson" in 2015, which climbed to the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper would soon sign a recording contract with Republic Records.

By any standard, Post Malone has been on fire ever since. His debut studio album, "Stoney," reached number four on the U.S. Billboard 200, and his second album, "Beerbongs & Bentleys," debuted at number one in 2018. It included smash hits "Psycho" and "Rockstar" and was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards that year. Soon after, Malone collaborated with Swae Lee for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack. Their song, "Sunflower," topped the charts.

Earlier this month, the musician released his third studio album, "Hollywood's Bleeding." Debuting to critical acclaim, the record includes the smash singles, "Wow," "Goodbyes," "Circles" and "Sunflower." Now, Malone is embarking on his third headlining tour, "Runaway Tour," to promote the album. The tour kicks off Sept. 14 in Tacoma, Washington, before traveling to 31 cities across the U.S. "Runaway Tour" is slated to wrap up in Los Angeles on Nov. 21.

Fans in Atlanta are sure to hear a mix of Post Malone's new songs and past favorites. The rapper will perform at State Farm Arena on Friday Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale, with seats starting at $134.
