Find out when you can pick up any last-minute additions to your Easter 2021 menu from Publix, Kroger, Aldi, Costco and Walmart in Georgia.

ATLANTA, GA — Easter Sunday dinner can often prompt a last-minute run to a grocery store for whipped topping or more eggs for dyeing, but some grocery stores in the Atlanta metro either won't be open or will have limited hours on the holiday, which falls on April 4.

National chains are varied in their opening plans for the holiday celebrated across Christian faiths. At least 38 chain stores plan to close for Easter, with at least 23 opening for at least a part of it, according to a list from the coupon company RetailMeNot.

Walmart, Rite Aid and Safeway are among the grocery giants staying open for at least part of the day, the list shows. At least two stores that require a membership to shop there, Sam's Club and Costco, will be closed, however.
