ATLANTA, GA – Spring has sprung here in Atlanta, and weekends are becoming even more fun-filled. This weekend, the city will celebrate both Easter and Earth Day with Georgia Tech’s Earth Day Festival, as well as the Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt in Druid Hills.

For your hearty dose of music and brew, head down to Centennial Olympic Park for the Sweetwater 420 Fest. Plus, The Roof at Ponce City Market will be hosting a Spring Fling party featuring family fun and a VIP wine tasting to satisfy your springtime cravings.

Earth Day Festival

Neighborhood: Midtown

The Georgia Institute of Technology is set to go all out for Earth Day as they hold their very own Earth Day Festival. The five-hour long event will include live music and plenty of activities for all ages. Be sure to grab a free t-shirt and free organic popcorn!

SweetWater 420 Fest

Neighborhood: Downtown

Atlanta-based brewery SweetWater Brewing Company will kick off their 15th SweetWater 420 Fest this Friday. The three-day music festival will feature performances from dozens of acts, including Widespread Panic, The Avett Brothers and MoonTaxi. Missed out on snagging tickets? Single day tickets will be made available at the event.

Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt

Neighborhood: Druid Hills

Be sure to grab your little ones and head to the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center for an Easter egg hunt that will be one to remember. In addition to an extraordinary Easter egg hunt, there will also be a face painter, various crafts, activities, a kids-friendly dance floor and more. And for adults, you’ll be able to find mimosas and coffee at the indoor bar.

Artful Stories: Cleo and Cornelius

Neighborhood: Druid Hills

With its expansive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities, the Michael C. Carlos Museum serves as the perfect setting for a reading of “Cleo and Cornelius: A Tale of Two Cities and Two Kitties.” The museum’s Artful Stories series is ideal for preschoolers and kindergarteners, and is free with registration.

Spring Fling

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

This weekend, The Roof at Ponce City Market will host quite the soirée. To celebrate the spring season, which also marks the beginning of patio season, The Roof is holding a Spring Fling party. In addition to a Family Fun portion, there will also be a 21 and up VIP Wine Experience. The adults-only, VIP experience will consist of curated light bites, a rosé tasting and rosé cocktails.

Big Boi & Dungeon Family Live

Neighborhood: Midtown

As one half of the mighty OutKast, rapper Big Boi is one of the most celebrated artists to come out of Atlanta (by way of Savannah, Georgia). You can expect the hometown hero to run through a number of his solo hits, as well as the OutKast records that seamlessly proved that “the South got something to say.” Attendees can also expect performances from Goodie Mob, Organized Noize and others.

Free Yoga At The Park By King Of Pops

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

King Of Pops’ free yoga has made its return off the BeltLine. Whether you’re an amateur or have leveled up to yogi status, the brand’s free yoga series is a great time for all. And be sure to cool down with one of King Of Pops’ signature popsicles.
