School Bus Crash On I-20 Injures 6: Reports

ATLANTA, GA — Five students and an adult were injured Friday morning in a school bus crash on Interstate 20, according to media reports. The students and the adult, from Rockland County, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The accident occurred on I-20 West at Moreland Avenue, say media reports. The Atlanta Police Department said the accident was weather-related, the AJC reported.

The Rockland County school bus was one of three traveling together on a field trip. A pickup truck trying to exit I-20 lost control and collided with the bus, the AJC reported.

The damaged bus was towed away, and the school system sent another bus to pick up the students from that bus, the AJC reported.
