Stranger Con And Holiday Parties: Atlanta This Weekend
Meet the cast of "Stranger Things" at Stranger Con, or take part in festive parties and a holiday-centric pub crawl.

ATLANTA, GA – With the holidays in full swing, there’s plenty to keep Atlantans busy this weekend. If you’re feeling festive, there’s a holiday party at Fernbank Museum and a Toys For Tots Benefit at Orpheus Brewing.
For fans of the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things," the Stranger Con conference is set to take place downtown. This weekend will also play host to V-103 WinterFest and the Larkin on Memorial Holiday Block Party. Here’s what else is happening around the city:

Look no further than the Essence Entrepreneur Summit & Target Holiday Market. The free event, which kicks off Friday, will include appearances from Queen Latifah, T.I., Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and more.

Holiday party season is upon us, and the Fernbank Museum plans to throw an epic holiday party Friday. There will be live music from funk-jazz group Cadillac Jones, screenings of penguins 3D and the opportunity to check out the museum’s Festivi-trees. Cocktails, craft beer and small plates will also be available for purchase.

The Night Before Christmas: A Toys For Tots Benefit

The holidays serve as a great time to give back. And if you’re looking for an event that allows you to do just that, consider Orpheus Brewing’s The Night Before Christmas: A Toys For Tots Benefit. During the event, attendees will receive a free 5-ounce pour for each toy they bring for a child under 2. There will also be food from High Steaks, a DJ set by Girl_IRL and various art vendors on site.

Pub Crawl on the BeltLine: Winter Edition

’Tis the season for a festive, holiday bar crawl. At this bar crawl, you’ll have the opportunity to sip and nosh your way down the East Side Trail of the BeltLine as you stop at favorites such as Char Korean Bar & Grill and Hampton + Hudson. Your ticket gets you up to five complimentary drinks at partner bars and a souvenir Pub Crawl on the BeltLine koozie.

Stranger Con

Arguably one of the most popular television shows to film in Atlanta, "Stranger Things" will take center stage at Stranger Con. The two-day conference will include appearances from a number of Stranger Things cast members, including Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp and Caleb McLaughlin. There will be meet-and-greets, Q&As and even a karaoke party.

V-103 WinterFest

Enjoy a night of R&B at V-103's WinterFest, with performances by Anthony Hamilton, Monica, Tyrese and Joe. Powered by AT&T, tickets to the concert currently start at $39.

Larkin On Memorial Holiday Block Party

The holidays provide the perfect opportunity for a block party, and Larkin On Memorial is providing merry revelers with just that. As part of its holiday block party, there will be bites from Larkin restaurants including Ramen Station, Firepit Pizza Tavern and Kale Me Crazy. Attendees can also expect holiday shopping with Squash Blossom and a pop-up class with Vibe Ride Grant Park.
