Super Bowl Live And Big Game Watch Party: Atlanta This Weekend

Enjoy game day bites at the Southern Roots Culinary Tailgate, meet Eli Manning or take a trip to the circus this weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — Super Bowl 2019 weekend has officially arrived here in Atlanta and with it a healthy number of events for both visitors and residents to take part in. To get in on the Super Bowl action, head to Centennial Olympic Park for Super Bowl Live or visit the Visa Super Bowl LIII Locker Room for photos with NFL players. Then, round out the week with a performance from the UniverSoul Circus.

Visa Super Bowl LIII Locker Room Experience

Football fans will have the opportunity to meet the biggest stars in the league as part of the Visa Super Bowl LIII Locker Room Experience. Friday will kick off with a meet-and-greet with New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning. Another special guest will also be in attendances, and fans will have the opportunity to try out Visa’s newest payment technology.

Southern Roots Culinary Tailgate

Neighborhood: Downtown

Conveniently located next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Southern Roots Culinary Tailgate will combine food and fun for a unique tailgating experience. Friday’s schedule will include a Battle of the Culinary Divas, NFL players/celebrity meet and greet, and a gaming tournament.

Super Bowl LIVE

Neighborhood: Downtown

The finale to Super Bowl Live, the week-long celebration taking place in Centennial Park, will take place this Saturday. In addition to family-friendly activations from Tostitos and the Kennedy Space Center, attendees can expect performances from Monica and DJ Smurf & So So Def All-Stars.

Smashing Stress And Trauma

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

Dad’s Garage and the nonprofit organization Struggles To Strengths are providing the ultimate way to de-stress this weekend. A pop-up destruction room will be on hand at the theatre to allow attendees the chance to use the stress relieving tool(s) of their choice.

Atlanta Winter Beer Fest

Neighborhood: Midtown

The Atlanta Winter Beer Fest is getting into the Super Bowl spirit by serving beers from the Patriots and Rams’ hometowns. A modest selection of wine will also be available at the festival, and food will be available for purchase.

UniverSoul Circus

Neighborhood: Summerhill

The circus has also decided to roll into town this weekend. Once dubbed “the coolest show on Earth,” the UniverSoul Circus is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Expect to see motorsports, acrobatics, aerial acts and various other forms of entertainment during the show.

When: Sunday, Feb. 3, at 12:30 p.m.


Big Game Watch Party

Neighborhood: Midtown

Party and network with young professionals as you take in one of sports’ biggest games, during a private watch party. Tickets to the Big Game Watch Party, which is put on by the Urban League of Greater Atlanta Young Professionals and Emerging 100 of South Metro, are available for purchase for $25 and include food and free parking.
