Superhero For The Ocean Day And ZooPaws: Atlanta This Weekend
Adopt a new pet at ZooPaws, sample beers from across the southeast at the Great Southern Beer Fest or wind down at the Inman Park Festival.

ATLANTA, GA – This weekend is all about supporting great causes while having an equally good time! For a family-friendly option, head to Zoo Atlanta for the Atlanta Humane Society’s ZooPaws pet adoption event. You can also bring the kids to the Georgia Aquarium on Sunday for Superhero For The Ocean Day.
Adults can kick off the weekend with sips and light bites at the launch party for TryMyFab or choose to "sip and savor" a medley of rosé wines at the Spring Wine Tasting Series by The Vino Van.

TryMyFab Launch Party
Neighborhood: Downtown
All are invited to celebrate the launch of TryMyFab, a new natural haircare platform. In addition to the Atlanta launch party being free of charge, there will also be drinks, light bites, music, natural hair consultations, deals on membership at Monday & Co (a new co-working space) and more.

ZooPaws

In search of a new pet? You’ll have the opportunity to find your new, furry best friend at the third annual ZooPaws, which will take place just outside of Zoo Atlanta. Put on by the Atlanta Humane Society, ZooPaws is the society’s annual pet adoption event. Last year, ZooPaws helped in finding new homes for over 60 dogs.

Inman Park Festival

With spring in full swing, nearly each weekend in the city welcomes a festival kickoff. Next up is the long-running Inman Park Festival. The festival will include an Arts & Craft Market, a Street Market and a Community Corner. Attendees can also expect plenty of food and drink options from participating vendors.

Great Southern Beer Fest

From milkshake IPAs to fruity pilsners and everything in between, a variety of beers will be on hand at this weekend’s Great Southern Beer Fest. At this brew-centric festival, you’ll have the opportunity to sample a selection of craft beers from across the southeast. Tickets can currently be purchased for $45 (includes samples and souvenir mason jar).

Superhero For The Ocean Day
Neighborhood: Downtown
Kids 12 and under will have the opportunity to channel their favorite superhero for a special event at the Georgia Aquarium. During Superhero For the Ocean Day, pint-size attendees can enjoy a pot decorating craft station, The Home Depot kids workshop, a photo station and much more, all while learning how they can protect marine life. Those 12 and under will receive free admission with an accompanying adult, if they’re dressed as a superhero.

Bourbon & BBQ
Neighborhood: Decatur
There are few things greater than the combination of bourbon and BBQ. At the second annual Bourbon & BBQ, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in both while also supporting a great cause. Hosted by the Junior League of DeKalb County, Bourbon & BBQ will feature a bourbon bar and bites from both amateur and professional pit masters.

Spring Wine Tasting Series

A new season definitely calls for a new wine. If you’re at a loss when it comes to choosing a wine that's perfect for spring, consider the Spring Wine Tasting Series by The Vino Van. For $50 per person, wine enthusiasts can expect to “sip and savor” their way through a medley of rosé wines paired with small bites.
