Swim With Sharks At The Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium will soon have a new interactive one-million-gallon shark exhibit that includes a dive cage.

ATLANTA, GA — Swim with sharks. Thanks to a new interactive exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium, those adventurous enough will have a chance to dip more than their toes into shark infested waters.

The Georgia Aquarium announced the news as part of their 2020 expansion project, which is already under construction. When completed, the one-million-gallon shark exhibit will include a dive cage. Guests will be under the guidance of Aquarium dive staff. No diving certification is required. There’s already a signup page for anyone brave enough to explore the sharks’ habitat.

For those seeking something a little less scary, there’s a sign up for a chance to wade into an immersion pool housing zebra sharks and stingrays attached to the shark habitat. Aquarium workers will be available to accompany anyone who would like to see the animals up close.
