Tequila Fest And Krab Queenz Grand Opening: Atlanta This Weekend

ATLANTA, GA — Here in Atlanta, festival season is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. This weekend will play host to the Piedmont Park Arts Festival, Golda Kombucha 5-Year Anniversary Fest, Tequila Fest Atlanta and plenty of other festivals. There will also be the fun and food-filled opening of Krab Queenz.

On the mixology side, Bar Margot will hold a cocktail class hosted by Atlanta-based mixologist Toki Sears.

Friday Jazz At The High Museum

Neighborhood: Midtown

If you’re on the market for a unique date night or even a girl’s night out, head to the High Museum for Friday Jazz. This month, those in attendance will be treated to art, wine and other libations, and the music of vocalist Brenda Nicole Moorer. Friday Jazz is free with admission and free for members of the museum.

Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show

What is considered to be one of the biggest hair shows in the world will once again be bringing a weekend's worth of beauty, entertainment and more to the city of Atlanta. The Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show will consist of three days of industry education, hundreds of exhibitors, live concerts, seminars and much more.

Piedmont Park Arts Festival

Neighborhood: Midtown

Serving as what will likely be one of the last big summer festivals to take place in Piedmont Park, the Piedmont Park Arts Festival will be held on both Saturday and Sunday. While strolling through the festival, you can expect to come across art and crafts from over 250 local and regional artisans and craftsman. Best of all, admission is absolutely free.

Golda Kombucha 5-Year Anniversary Fest

Neighborhood: West End

You can expect a full-on celebration at this weekend’s Golda Kombucha 5-Year Anniversary Fest. To celebrate the milestone, the kombucha brand will hold “a fun packed event [with] vendors offering a wide array of handmade wares, delicious foods, and performing amazing music.”

Krab Queenz Atlanta Grand Opening

Neighborhood: Downtown

Kwaylon “Blameitonkway” Rogers, one of social media's biggest stars, will open his Atlanta Krab Queenz location with a grand opening celebration on Saturday. With a second line band and a mini parade scheduled, as well as guest appearances from the likes of Pastor Troy and the Ying Yang Twins, the opening is sure to be quite the occasion for both foodies and fans of Kwaylon.

Tequila Fest Atlanta

Neighborhood: Oakland City

One tequila, two tequila...there’s sure to be an ample amount of tequila to sample at Tequila Fest Atlanta. In addition to a tequila open bar, festival attendees will also be treated to complimentary tacos, BBQ chicken and jerk chicken straight from the grill. A number of ticket options are available, but take note that tickets will not be sold at the door.

Punch It Up Cocktail Class With Toki Sears

Neighborhood: Midtown

If your at-home mixology skills need a little brushing up on, consider taking a cocktail class with one of the city’s most talented mixologists. This Sunday, Toki Swears will host a Punch It Up Cocktail Class at Bar Margot (located inside the Four Seasons). You’ll learn the history of punches and how to create the perfect punch, all while sipping on Sears’ “Peach” cocktail.
